Rachel has been an Occupational Therapist at Ipswich Hand Therapy since 2021, returning to the profession after having a break to have her family. She graduated from Occupational Therapy at the University of Queensland in 2006 after which she spent the early years of her career building up her skills in the General Adult Hospital population with stints at various hospitals in QLD and northern NSW.
Hand Therapy has been a special interest as they are key to enabling one to maintain function and occupation. She enjoys helping people of all ages to understand their pain better and assist them to be able to manage their injuries back to recovery and adapt to changes in physical abilities.
Rachel is a hobby violinist and especially enjoys helping other musicians get back to enjoying playing after injury. Her family follows the AFL and barracks for our Brisbane Lions all the way!
